Bella's Guardian Angels

Category Corporate Social Responsibility

Bella's Guardian Angels is a non-profit animal rescue organisation. In honour of their beloved dog, Bella, they rescue abandoned and orphaned puppies and kittens, as well as help other orphaned and abandoned animals find wonderful homes.

Bella was a stray dog that the Kruger family took in. One evening, intruders entered their home and Bella, in an attempt to save the lives of her family, very sadly died at the hands of the intruders. In honour of her story, the mission for the team at Bella's Guardian Angels is to rescue orphaned and abandoned puppies and kittens, heal them both physically and mentally and find them loving homes.

PUPPY THERAPY

As part of their efforts, Bella's Guardian Angels hosts a Puppy Therapy event every Saturday from 2PM to 5PM. The entrance fee is R40 per person and goes towards the Puppy Food Fund.

Puppy Therapy is a big part of Bella's and why they do what they do. The puppies get very excited for the fun and cuddles every week and look forward to welcoming visitors to the farm - 35 Suikerbekkie West, JoostenbergVlakte, Cape Town, 7570.

THE LAUNCH OF THE #TLCPROGRAM

The pups would appreciate some love and adventures while they wait for their forever homes.

This program is aimed at families who are unable to adopt, still deciding whether they should adopt or just want to make the first few months of a rescue pup's life extra special!

It will start with 1 family and 1 puppy. Your pup will need to go to puppy class once a week and a fun outing 2-4 times a month. This can include a trip to the beach or netflix and chill at home.

The cost of the program is R500 and includes 4 weeks of puppy classes, as well as free entry for yourself to Puppy Therapy, where you can spend time with your pup.

Relevant home checks are required, as well as the signing of a contract. If you would like to sponsor a pup for the program you are welcome to do that too - Bella's Guardian Angels will be sure to keep you updated on the puppy's progress.

Puppies who are eligible for the program include pups of 12 weeks and older - these pups are already fully vaccinated and ready to explore the big world! The older pups (of 7 months) would love to join your family too!

CONTACT

Please contact Bella's Guardian Angels if your family would like to sign up for this fun, new adventure. You can do some good and walk a path with a well-deserving puppy.
